IVS Hydro, Inc., Awarded Contractors Association of West Virginia 2010 Safety Award
Charleston, West Virginia, March 24, 2011 – Fred Clark, CEO of IVS Hydro, Inc., yesterday accepted the Contractors Association of West Virginia (CAWV) 2010 Safety Award for the “Greater Than 50,000 Manhours” category at the CAWV State Meeting Breakfast a the Charleston Civic Center. “I am proud of our employees for this accomplishment,” stated Mr. Clark. “IVS has always prided ourselves on safety first and being honored with this award proves that we are doing just that in working more than 400,000 manhours last year safely,” commented Mr. Clark. IVS Hydro, Inc., is a 39 year old West Virginia based specialty contractor that works throughout the United States and currently employs 250 field, management, and support staff at its Wood County and Kanawha County facilities. “We have recently hired 28 employees in March who are currently participating in safety and training classes with plans to add an additional 30 to 40 employees during the next several weeks to support current contracts and projects of IVS Hydro. These projects are primarily located here in our Home State of West Virginia, and in the states of Indiana, Illinois, North Carolina, and Maryland,” concluded Fred Clark.
IVS HYDRO ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR $10 MILLION CAPITAL INVESTMENT OVER FIVE YEARS
Institute, WV, October 20, 2010 - Fred Clark, Chief Executive Officer for IVS Hydro, Inc., a West Virginia based company with 250 employees, headquartered in Institute, West Virginia, announces that the Board of Directors for IVS Hydro has committed to a $10 Million capital investment over the next five years. "This is an exciting time for IVS Hydro, and we are committed to the growth of our business and maintaining our image as a good corporate citizen," commented Mr. Clark. The first of two areas of current growth is in our environmental division, relating to supplying liquid hauling, storage, and cleanup operations associated with the Marcellus Shale production in North Central West Virginia. The second area of investment is equipment supplying IVS Hydro bridge repair with Hydro-Demolition, for current contracts in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and North Carolina. "The number of West Virginia based jobs created with this $10 Million investment by IVS Hydro could amount to an additional 80 to 90 jobs in the next two years," Mr. Clark projected.
